Saved parcels, projects, notes, imported layers and measurement coordinates stay on your device unless you intentionally export or share them.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Geo Measure mobile applications, measure-geo.com, the browser measurement tool, subscription verification, maps and support services. Geo Measure is provided by the developer identified on the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play listing.

Information stored locally
Geo Measure is designed so that land measurements and field-work data remain locally on your device or browser by default. This includes GPS points, parcel boundaries, areas, perimeters, side lengths, bearings, projects, names, tags, notes, imported layers, snapshots, offline map packages, COGO results, GNSS/RTK settings, stakeout points and generated reports.
The Geo Measure subscription backend does not receive saved parcel geometry, project contents, notes, imported layers or exports unless you deliberately include them in a support message. Files shared through the operating-system share sheet are controlled by you and the receiving application.
The web measurement tool may use browser local storage for current drafts and saved web parcels. You can remove it using the browser’s site-data controls.
Location and map requests
With your permission, Geo Measure uses precise location to show your position, add GPS points, record a walked boundary, report accuracy and support stakeout. You can deny or revoke location permission in device settings; features that require current position will then be unavailable.
Precise GPS readings used for measurements are processed on your device and are not stored in the Geo Measure subscription database. Loading online street or satellite maps sends tile requests for the visible region to map infrastructure, which can reveal an approximate viewed area together with network information.
If you configure an external GNSS, RTK or NTRIP service, your device communicates with the provider you select under that provider’s terms.
Anonymous backend information
To secure purchases and synchronize Pro access, the app registers an anonymous installation. The backend may process a randomly generated installation identifier, a cryptographic hash of its secret, platform, app version, selected locale, creation and last-seen timestamps, and verified subscription state.
Subscription records may include provider, product identifier, environment, transaction identifiers, purchase and expiration dates, grace period, revocation and auto-renewal state. The installation identifier is not an advertising ID, IMEI, phone number or hardware serial number.
Server, Nginx and security-provider logs may process request date, endpoint, IP address, user agent, request identifier and error data for security and reliability. No name, email or password is required for ordinary app use.
Purchases and payment information
Apple App Store or Google Play sells and processes the subscription. Geo Measure does not receive or store complete bank-card details. The stores provide limited transaction and renewal information needed to verify access, restore purchases, prevent fraud and respond to renewal, cancellation, refund, billing-retry and expiration events.
Apple and Google process store account and payment information under their own policies.
Support communications
If you email support, we process the address, message, screenshots, files, diagnostic details and other information you choose to send. Do not send passwords, store credentials, complete payment-card details or confidential property documents that are not needed to resolve the issue.
Why information is processed
We process information only as needed to operate, secure and support Geo Measure; verify and restore purchases; provide Pro access; diagnose failures; answer requests; prevent fraud and abuse; and comply with legal obligations.

- Geo Measure does not use parcel data for behavioral advertising.
- Geo Measure does not use data for cross-app tracking.
- Location access is used for user-requested measurement features.
Service providers and disclosure
Information may be processed by Apple and Google for purchases; Cloudflare and hosting, database, networking, email and security providers for service operation; and external map or imagery providers for requested map content. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, rights or service security.
Cloudflare may process network and security information when traffic passes through its infrastructure.
Retention and deletion
Local measurements remain until you delete them, clear app or browser data, or uninstall the app. Backend installation and subscription records are retained only while reasonably necessary to provide access and restoration, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations and protect the service. Support communications and technical logs are kept only as reasonably necessary for those purposes.
Authenticated in-app deletion removes the anonymous installation record and its user-to-subscription association. Transaction or notification records may be retained in de-identified form where required for payment disputes, fraud prevention, accounting, security or legal claims.
Apple and Google retain purchase records independently. Deleting Geo Measure data does not delete a store account and does not cancel an active subscription.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and may withdraw consent. Location permission can be changed in device settings. Anonymous server data can be deleted from Geo Measure settings without emailing us.
For other privacy requests, contact support. We may request reasonable verification to prevent disclosure or deletion of another installation’s information. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Security and international processing
We use HTTPS, cryptographic installation credentials, restricted infrastructure access and server-side store verification. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so protect your device and exported files.
Service providers may process information outside your country. Where required, legally recognized transfer safeguards apply, and mandatory local privacy rights remain available.
Children
Geo Measure is a general-purpose field tool and is not directed specifically to children. We do not knowingly request a child’s name, birth date or contact details. Minors should use location and field features only with appropriate adult permission and supervision.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app, providers or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will remain published here. Material changes may also be communicated in the app where appropriate.
